Community Disability Housing Program

The Community Disability Housing program (CDHP) provides community managed accommodation options for people with disabilities who require support to live independently in the community. Bunbury Housing Association (BHA) leases properties from the Department of Housing and Works for tenants who have appropriate support arrangements in place to help sustain independent living. This support is funded by the Department of Health or the Disability Services Commission.

Currently BHA accommodates 20 people in eight house in Bunbury and four houses in Busselton that it manages. We have partnerships with Pathways, South West Family Support Association, LAMP and My Place to provide the specialised support that these tenants require. Further information about the program can be found at the CDHP program page on the Department of Housing and Works website.
